Anna's Poems of Love, Life and Humour
The Author sat at the table displaying his books for sale,
When up strode a disgruntled and unhappy male.
Who said "Some of your poems I don't like you see,
So I have come for a refund of my money."
The author replied "I can't do that but will advise you what to do.
If you know anyone you dislike or resent,
pass your book onto them as a Christmas present.
That will save you from having wasted your money."
The customer replied "What a good idea, I will buy another three!"

How Mary Got Her Man
It is an old adage and a true one, if you have got it, flaunt it. That's fine if there are men about free of ties, who need to be attracted to your female charm. Many men are lonely too, and need encouragement, others are shy, others nervous of being turned down. Many of the authors poems inspire the gentle sex to stir the men to fall in love with them. The clever ladies let the men think they are doing the chasing, even when they have been caught.
After all the lady is only helping Mother Nature to complete the union of lovers.
A readers letter after reading the first selection of the Authors Poems
Dear Terry,
I was given your book as a present to cheer me up as I was depressed and didn't seem to be able to attract a suitable man. You're humorous Poems cheered me up, and then your romantic poems gave me confidence to plan my action to find a mate.
I picked out two single men in my circle of life without ties, and made subtle contacts, and soon to my surprise I had two relationships on the boil. Fingers crossed, I will be marrying one of them.
I am writing to thank you for guiding me how to get up and get my man. On reflection, once inspired it was not too difficult.
Moral is I suppose is don't give up, keep trying.
Must dash, I have a dinner date again.
